Blaze Recovery

My Gary Baker X Blaze came down with a horrible case of the mealy bugs, but the organic vegetable spray killed them all in two applications.  After one month, I am now seeing new shoots. YAY!

PB cross hatch cookies and a shot of milk, twirly pops, cheese it crackers, and sugar cookies with 'frosting'.

This pullover was also make from Butterick 4089 by modifying the pocket (cutting on a center fold) and using two back side pieces in lieu of 1 back and 2 fronts.  I added decorative zig zag stitching around the edges.

Fleece Jacket

This fleece jacket was made with Butterick pattern 4089. It is a two sided fleece in charcoal and hot red. The zipper is also red. 1/2 yard was enough to make two jackets.  I also made the black t-shirt.

Trout

Whole grain brown rice, black barley, and daikon radish seeds make a wonderful earthy base for the ruby red trout, pan seared with butter and lemon zest. Served with green beans and garlic toast.
