Dice Tray

I made this delightful dice tray at Origins Gaming Convention this year.  The corners have snaps riveted in, so it can lay flat for storage. Two traditional Celtic knots grace the corners and an E is emblazon in the center.

Marshmallows

Our grocery store is selling dried marshmallow bits. The display this week, the Lucky Charms were removed and replaced with Unicorn fruit loops. Sugar. Sugar. Sugar.

Coconut Cake

Thank you Mimi for throwing me an excellent pool side party. I got lots of great gifts and everyone had a nice time.

Pine Car Derby

I cut these for my co-workers little girls. They are in Girl Scouts, and I wanted to help. The girls painted them and applied stickers. The sedan even won first place!!

Chicken and fried rice

Fried Rice
3 cups cooked rice
2 Tbs butter
1 small shallot, chopped
1 cup frozen peas and carrots, thawed
2-3 Tablespoons soy sauce (more or less to taste)
2 eggs, lightly beaten

Preheat a large skillet to medium heat. Place butter in the bottom. Add onion and peas and carrots and fry until tender. Slide the onion, peas and carrots to the side, and pour the eggs in. soft scramble eggs. Add the rice to the veggie and egg mixture. Pour the soy sauce on top. Stir and fry the rice and veggie mixture until heated through and combined.
